My understanding of coaching

For me, coaching means supporting people in finding their solutions and achieving their goals. As the term „coach“ suggests, I am the “coach driver” or, in contemporary terms, the “taxi driver” who supports you to reach your destination. I am responsible for the process, i.e. for the sequence and structure of the coaching as well as for using suitable and tailored methods. In this way, I support you in clearifying your goals, in identifying and activating the necessary resources, in unfolding your potential, and in you taking steps towards your goal.

The basis for this resource-oriented and solution-focused approach are the basic assumptions of humanistic psychology:

Every person who has a “problem” also has a solution because they unconsciously or consciously know a better state.

Every person has the resources within him or her that he or she needs to develop a solution.

Coaching generates impulses that can have a great impact in a short time. A coaching session lasts about ninety minutes and is sometimes sufficient. If necessary, further coaching sessions can be arranged.

I enjoy working with my clients in nature (outdoor coaching) with a variety of methods for example from systemic coaching, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy. You can find out more here.
